Documentation for Deptle Terminal.
Guides for setup, scripting, troubleshooting, and more.
Loader
The loader is the entry point for every launch. It signs you in, applies required updates, and starts the desktop app.
Authentication starts in your browser.
Required updates install automatically.
After checks and download are complete, the desktop app starts.
Loader · Install
Install the loader once, then use it for all future launches.
- 1.Go to the download page and choose your OS.
- 2.Open the downloaded file and follow the install prompt.
- 3.Open the loader and click Connect via browser.
- 4.After the first launch, use the Execution dashboard to verify the machine slot.
Each launch downloads the desktop app files before startup.
Loader · Sign In
Sign in on the website, then return to the loader to continue automatically.
- 1.Click Connect via browser.
- 2.Sign in or create an account on the login page.
- 3.Return to the loader and wait for it to finish.
- 4.Open the Monitoring dashboard if you want to confirm the latest account activity.
The sign-in session expires after 5 minutes.
Loader · Updates
Loader updates are handled automatically when required.
Manual reinstall is not required for normal updates.
If a required loader update is flagged, launch is blocked until that update is applied.
Loader · Starting Deptle Terminal
After authentication and checks complete, the loader starts Deptle Terminal.
After startup, the loader window closes and the desktop app keeps running.
The web dashboard remains available for monitoring, settings, and device cleanup while the runtime stays local.
- 1.Connect via browser and complete login.
- 2.Wait for the loader to finish update/download steps.
- 3.The app opens automatically when startup is ready.
Loader · Rate Limits
Sign-in requests are rate-limited to protect account security and service reliability.
Sign-in is limited to 20 attempts per minute per IP address.
If the limit is hit, wait 60 seconds before trying again.
Avoid repeated rapid retries after failed credentials.
Loader · System Requirements
Supported platforms and baseline requirements.
- Windows 10/11 or modern Linux (x86_64). NVIDIA CUDA-capable GPU recommended.
- Use the latest GPU drivers for best stability and performance.
Internet connection is required while using the desktop app. If connection is lost for too long, the app closes.
Loader · Crash Logs
If the loader encounters a critical error, it writes a crash log file you can send to support.
- Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%DeptleDeptleTerminaldatacrash_logs
- Linux: ~/.local/share/deptleterminal/crash_logs
Loader · Troubleshooting
Most launch issues are resolved by restarting and signing in again.
- 1.Check your internet connection.
- 2.Restart the loader and try again.
- 3.Click Connect via browser and complete login again.
- 4.If it still fails, attach the latest crash log, review Control Plane Overview, and contact support.
Check Status first to rule out active platform incidents.
If launch fails, include your loader version, OS, and latest crash log so support can reproduce the issue quickly.
